Our Story & Mission

Transforming Vulnerability into Sustainable Hope

Inspired by a commitment to social justice, Abizeer Community Development Organization (ACDO) was founded by Jemal Abdu to serve the most marginalized: orphans. Registered in 2019 (Registry No. 4489), what began as a personal spiritual journey has evolved into a community-driven movement built on trust and accountability. Headquartered in Addis Ababa with a primary logistics hub in Bati, our organization is led by high-level professionals and governed by robust policies in HR, Finance, and Safeguarding to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Holistic Accountability

Using our Family-Based Care Model, we provide a "protective shield" of nutrition and health. We maintain zero tolerance for abuse, ensuring total dignity for every child and elderly citizen in our care.
